OEM Software - Is Cheap OEM Software Legal?

on a PC or Mac. People need software but only a minority can afford buying full

2) use trial versions of a brand-name company software limited in functionality;
3) try to find a similar software tool at a less famous manufacturer;

suppliers.
The first option requires a "fat purse" of a client. Ideally in order to operate
a PC or Mac, to make presentations, write and send letters, watch films, burn
data CD's, listen to music and so on you need to spend thousands of dollars even
if you limit yourself in your desires as well as the functions of your computer.
A license even for your operating system costs more than 500$. Are you able to

a lot of active computer users buy them. But are they really legal? The answer is a yes and a no. Read on to find out more.
Technically speaking, you can only get OEM software with a specified accompanying hardware. So when these OEM programs are
copied and then sold separately from the hardware, there is a violation. Unless the license specifically states that the OEM
software is free and can be copied and distributed, then transactions involving the sale and/or trade of OEM software are illegal.
The only reason that OEM software is still rampantly sold in the market is that manufacturers have never really actively reprimanded the
vendors for illegally distributing them. The key is to be a wise consumer – know that when you buy counterfeit OEM-labeled software, you
will not be entitled to technical support, service packs, upgrades or patches. Weigh the consequences against the benefits and decide accordingly.
You can still legally purchase discount OEM software, provided that the software is licensed to OEMs for bundling.
Legally reproduced OEM software can be bought from hardware manufacturers themselves or from their licensed distributors. They should
come with user manuals, original retail packaging, and technical support from the hardware provider themselves.
If you are not
sure of the OEM software you want to buy is a legal copy, try visiting OEM forums. Ask people who have used OEM software what they
think of the one you want to purchase. It is a good idea to sign up with these online communities so you can get first-hand,
consumer-to-consumer opinion and support. There are also OEM assistance sites that can try to check the legitimacy of any OEM
software for consumers like you. Do not hesitate to contact them when you're in doubt.
Many people sometimes do not believe in legal oem software and they have grounds
for it: some web-sites that are selling software products name them oem but in
reality they are selling pirated non-working software or trial versions that you
may get for free. Beware of such firms!

De meest sexy vrouw van het jaar is er weer eentje om zowel duimen als vingers van af te likken. Megan Fox, de 21-jarige actrice uit de blockbuster "Transformers", is door de lezers van het Britse mannenblad FHM uitgeroepen tot meest sexy vrouw ter wereld.
Haar zwangerschap heeft Jessica Alba blijkbaar enige esthetische schade toegebracht, want de beautyqueen van vorig jaar is naar de derde plaats gezakt.
Net niet het sexiest is actrice Jessica Biel, maar met een tweede plek in de lijst van 100 meest sexy vrouwen mag ze zeker niet klagen. Elisha Cuthbert, de blonde babe uit "24", ligt ook nog altijd goed in de markt: zij verovert plekje nummer 4. De top 5 wordt afgesloten door de alom welgevormde Scarlett Johansson, die menig mannenhart tien keer sneller doet slaan.
Angelina Jolie moet het dit jaar doen met een al bij al behoorlijke twaalfde plaats. En Paris Hilton zal volgend jaar een tandje tot een geheel gebit mogen bijsteken, want de hotelerfgename kampeert op plek 77. Britney Spears is dit jaar hekkensluiter. Prins William zorgt opnieuw voor ophef met helikoptervlucht
De Britse prins William (25) heeft in Groot-Brittannië opnieuw voor opschudding gezorgd. De koninklijke telg heeft voor de zoveelste keer met een militaire helikopter een bezoekje gebracht aan een van zijn dierbaren. Ditmaal waren zijn grootmoeder Queen Elizabeth II in Sandringham en zijn vader, prins Charles, in Highgrove aan de beurt. Dat meldt de Britse tabloid The Sun woensdag.
Vorige week maakte William ook al gebruik van een Chinook-transporthelikopter om met zijn jongere broer Harry naar een vrijgezellenfeestje te vliegen. Een zaak van nationaal belang kan je dit niet meteen noemen.
En ook zaterdag zette de 25-jarige prins het land weer in rep en roer. De Britse troonopvolger verraste toen zijn vriendin Kate Middleton met een helikopterlanding in de tuin van haar ouders.
Het ministerie van Defensie beklemtoont nu dat alle vluchten deel uitmaken van Williams pilotentraining bij de Royal Air Force en al lang op voorhand gepland waren. Bovendien zou er steeds een ervaren piloot aan boord van het toestel zijn geweest. (LEE)

Jeroen van der Boom exclusief op vtm live 2008
De Nederlandse zanger Jeroen van der Boom komt naar vtm live, het jaarlijkse popfestival in Gent. De tweede editie vindt plaats op zaterdag 23 augustus. Dat heeft de commerciële zender in Vilvoorde bekendgemaakt.
Eerder raakte al bekend dat Marco Borsato, Natalia en Soulsister naar vtm live komen. De overige namen op de affiche worden binnenkort bekendgemaakt.
Van der Boom is de vierde naam. In Nederland is van der Boom in een jaar tijd een van de populairste zangers geworden die met z'n singles moeiteloos naar nummer één doorstoot. "Jij bent zo" en "Eén wereld" werden ook in Vlaanderen grote hits. Het album "Jij bent zo" staat op de tweede plaats in de albumlijst.
De eerste editie van vtm live werd ook in Nederland naar verluidt erg enthousiast onthaald. "Het is het enige festival met alleen maar pop op de affiche en dat maakt het absoluut uniek", aldus van der Boom. Dit jaar speelt van der Boom op geen enkel ander festival dan vtm live.

Miss Belgian Beauty 2007 geflitst met 166 km/u
Voormalig Miss Belgian Beauty (MBB) Anne-Marie Ilie heeft last van een zware voet. Dat schrijft Het Laatste Nieuws dinsdag.
Op 29 december 2006 werd Ilie, die toen twee maanden het felbegeerde lintje van MBB droeg, in Sint-Eloois-Winkel geflitst terwijl ze 166 kilometer per uur op de E403 reed.
Het leverde haar maandag een boete van 275 euro en een rijverbod van acht dagen op.
